DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Our mission is simple: to help the entire community by promoting economic justice and supporting the struggles of low-income people to attain greater comfort, dignity, achievement and participation. FCAC is the largest human service agency in our region. Our diverse services include information and referral; nutrition assistance; Head Start, child care, child care provider training and parent education; youth peer leadership, adventure programs, health education and anti-violence training; fuel assistance and energy conservation; family and economic literacy; school and court-based mediation services; housing search assistance; special programs for women, persons with HIV and homeless persons.
