Healthy Families America (HFA)
A national program of Prevent Child
Abuse America launched to help parents and children get off to a healthy
start. The program was launched in 1992 by Prevent Child Abuse America
(formerly known as the National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse) in
partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities and was designed to promote
positive parenting, enhance child health and development and prevent child
abuse and neglect.
Goals:
1. To promote positive parenting
2. To encourage child health and
development; and to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Healthy Families America is a national program model designed to help expectant and new parents get their children off to a healthy start. |
