Christian Paro I moved out of a group house. I now live on my own. These paragraphs tell about me being independent, and stuff I need to do.
I moved into a new apartment. The apartment has a small kitchen. I do not know how I am going to fit a kitchen table in the kitchen. The living room is a decent size. My bedroom is a little small. The size of the bathroom is good. I do not know what the rent is going to be yet. The house had a moldy smell so we bought some deodorizer to make it smell better. The cable company has not installed my cable yet. I hope they install it soon. I hooked up my computer and stereo. I use my cell phone as my main phone. I owe the cell phone company a lot of money. My first meal was mac n cheese. The landlord has to fix the showerhead. The showerhead has been broken since I moved in. I am not happy with the landlord! I work at a place called the Enclave. I help clean 3 floors. You get to pick a certain floor to clean. Once you pick a floor, you walk into a room where the cleaning caddies are. The cleaning caddies hold soap and cleaning supplies and are easy to carry around. First I clean the bathroom. I have to clean the sink, toilet and the floor. Sometimes the boss has me wash the walls in the bathroom. I have to take out the trash on the floor I am working on and clean windows. The boss also has me mop the stairwells. The boss’s name is David. Sometimes I have to pick up litter outside. I wish I got paid more.
Going to school can be fun. It can also be difficult. I am doing geometry. I never did geometry before. I am also doing writing as well. It can be fun writing your own story. It is also fun learning about math. Reading can be fun too. Battlefield Earth is a good book to read. I like other books also. I like it when the teacher talks about stuff. There is a lot to learn. I try to be in class on time. I live closer to the school now. It does not take me long to get to school. Especially when I ride my bike! So far it is fun living on my own. The only thing that is hard for me is handling money. |
