THE GED AND MY GOALS IN LIFE

This essay is about what holds me back from my goals in life. Not having an education holds me from getting an enjoyable better paying job better which is one of my goals. Becoming a better role model to my children and having them believe in education is very important to me to. My dream is to go to college so that I can become a nurse.

The first thing that I would like to become is a good role model for my children. Going back to school and getting my GED would show my children that school is very important in life today. Staying in school is a good choice for the future because you really can’t move forward in life without an education.

The second thing I want is a better job. Having a better job would help my family in many ways. One day I would love to buy a house for my family and also improve my way of living.

Last but not least is my dream to go to college. I would love to become a nurse. Becoming a nurse would be a long life dream of mine come true. I’ve always wanted to become a nurse because I love to help people. Going to college would be great experience for me to become more educated for the rough and tumble world today.

My GED is the only thing that is holding me back from my dreams. Once I get that; there’s no stopping my dreams
