Winter Time

Children love to play in the snow.

They don’t care how much snow there is outside.

Or how hard the wind is blowing.

The parents don’t look forward

To getting the snow shovels out

And working in the snow.

Some people own snow blowers

It makes the job of moving the snow,

And piling it up in one spot, easier.

When there is a lot of snow, the schools close.

Until the snowplows clear the roads.

They get rid of the snow.

When I was a young boy,

My brother and I used to enjoy the wintertime.

We would take our sleds outside

And go up the hill and slide down the hill in the snow.

We didn’t care how hard the wind was blowing.

We would go up and down the hill,

And enjoy the snow.

In my opinion people should get as much enjoyment,

And remember the good old times

When they were young.
