MY FAVORITE SEASON

I love summer the best

You can do so much outside

Like going to the parks.

On weekends you can just pack a lunch and

Take a ride to get away from it all.

When my last kid leaves

It is still light outside,

Then I take a nice walk.

It’s nice to go camping.

To sit next to a fire with a drink

After a long day’s work.

I love to go to the ocean,

To swim, sit down, and read a book.

I love to drive up to Maine.

There the leaves are so nice and green.

I love when I wake up and hear

The birds chirping right there.

I love the way the days are long and sunny.

I love the way the flowers bloom with beautiful colors.

I love it when I’m sitting in my backyard,

For I can smell my lilac tree.

I love to walk the beach as the sun goes down.

For I think it is beautiful.

When it is hot outside,

I love to just jump into a pool.

It feels so relaxing and fun.
