1. The five types of bone fractures that
I know are called:
(i) Compound fracture, which breaks through the skin.
(ii) The
greenstick fracture goes partly through the bone.
(iii)
Multiple fracture is the bone that breaks in more than one place.
(iv)
Comminuted fracture has several bone pieces that are shattered.
(v) In
simple fracture, the bones are broken but the skin is not torn.
2. PHOTOSYNTHESIS
Photosynthesis takes place when plants grow and produce food. In order for plants to survive they need air, water, and sunlight. Plants give out oxygen that people and animals need to survive. Plants make up 99% of the earth. Without them we would perish, and so would the animals.
3. HYDROPONICS
Hydroponics happens when plants are grown in layers. We can grow them on mats in small places like a city small apartment or in colonies in space.
4.
CACTUSES
Cactuses grow in the desert. It is a plant that has many features. It has thick stems that are pointy. It soaks up rain or moisture in dry spells. The stem like roots below the shallow surface of the cactus absorb rain falls quickly. The cactus needs these features to survive.
5. SAP
Sap is a liquid found in trees.
(i)
One tree like the pine tree’s sap is used to make
turpentine.
(ii)
The maple tree’s sap can be used for syrup on
pancakes.
(iii)
The sap from sapodilla tree can also be used to make
chewing gum.
6. EXPERIMENT WITH CELERY PLACED
IN WATER AND WITHOUT WATER.
My observations on an experiment concerning celery
would lead me to this:
(i) My observation of the celery in a cup of
water a week ago is that the celery remains, fresh, green, and alive.
(ii) The second observation is that the celery
without the water has since shriveled extremely over the same time.
7. EXPERIMENT
WITH DEVIL IVY PLANTED IN WATER AND IN SOIL.
A)
The Devil ivy I planted was dry, and it wasn’t
watered. I gave the ivy in the soil
water. The ivy in water was greener and a bit healthier. The ivy with the water
was low. I added a bit more water.
B)
I hope the Devil Ivy I planted in water and in soil
will survive if I could only remember to water the both of them.
C)
I hope that in the next six weeks the ivy in the
water, and in the soil will
flourish.
