Recreation Program

The Rec.
Program (also known as Day Treatment) is funded by the Department of Mental
Health, and provides activities for children and their families who are
referred to us by DMH. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Swimming is a favorite activity! The Rec. Program is community-based, and strives to introduce children and adolescents to leisure time activities that they will be able to carry with them into adulthood. Families are included in many of the activities and often accompany their children on trips to New York, Boston and the trails of Western Massachusetts. |
|
|
|
|
Cooking dinner at the mission is one of many community volunteer activities that is available. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Music lessons are offered to interested children. |
|
|
|
|
Biking,
hiking, boating, movies, pizza, cultural events, vocational experiences,
volunteer activities, etc. all contribute to make this program fun and
