"How can you ask the questions if you can't find the right words?
How can you find the answers if you don't know where to look?."

TLP is the largest provider of ABE and GED services in Western MA with five Adult Learning Centers in Franklin and Hampshire Counties. We offer free classes in basic reading, writing, math, GED preparation, computer literacy, creative writing, science, and social studies. Transitions, Distance Learning and Volunteer Programs augment classroom instruction.

At the Literacy Project we believe that Literacy and Adult Basic Education are building blocks for democratic community development - this is one of the guiding principles of our work. Since 1984, we've worked to help adult students prepare for the many responsibilities they face at work, at home, and in the community. You can learn more about us in several ways.
