If you are excited about our mission of providing access to education to all adults in the Pioneer Valley, join us as a volunteer.
What volunteers do:
Most volunteers assist in our classes, working under the direction of the staff instructor, and come in once a week for a few hours. Since you’ll be working alongside our teachers, you don’t need to have prior teaching experience – just a willingness to learn!
We are looking for volunteer tutors who:
- support our mission
- are 18 or older
- have a high school diploma or the equivalent
- are conversationally fluent in English
- can commit to 6 months or 2 school semesters
- are willing to learn alongside the teacher and students
