The Literacy Project Requires Vaccines for Students and Staff

In keeping with the decision of the 15 Community Colleges in Massachusetts, The Literacy Project will now require that all students who want to attend classes in person be fully vaccinated by January 1, 2022. We had previously required that all staff and in-person volunteers be fully vaccinated.

Students who attend classes in person are also required to wear well-fitted masks, observe social distancing, practice careful personal hygiene, and follow specific safety protocols if they have been exposed to a known case of COVID-19.

Literacy Project staff are providing support and education to students who wish to be vaccinated and can help them find vaccination sites. Students who choose not to be vaccinated are welcome to attend online classes with The Literacy Project but cannot attend in person.
